3. Payments

Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. We do not store your full card number or card security code. Lemon Squeezy may process payment, tax, fraud prevention, and receipt information under its own terms and privacy practices.

4. AI and third-party processing

To provide the service, we use third-party providers, including OpenAI and Luma, to analyze listing information, create prompts, and generate video content. We may send the submitted URL, selected photos, and generation instructions to these providers as needed to produce your video.

5. Data retention and deletion

We retain order, generation, and support information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal or accounting obligations. You may request deletion of your submitted content or generated video by contacting us, subject to legitimate retention needs.

We do not sell personal information. We share information with service providers that help us operate Butterwhale, including hosting, database, payment, AI generation, analytics, security, and customer support providers.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, and you should avoid submitting content you are not authorized to use.

Butterwhale is intended for a global audience. Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live, subject to applicable laws and provider safeguards.
