Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains how Butterwhale handles refunds for AI-generated video purchases. Butterwhale sells one-time digital products generated from selected Airbnb listing photos.
1. No refunds after successful delivery
Once a video has been successfully generated and made available to you, the purchase is generally non-refundable. This is because each video is a digital product created on demand and generation requires third-party processing costs.
2. Failed generation or delivery
If you paid but a technical issue prevents Butterwhale from generating or delivering your video, we will provide either a refund or a free retry, depending on the circumstances and your preference where practical.
3. What qualifies as a technical issue
Examples may include payment confirmation failures, server errors, third-party generation failures, or other system problems that prevent you from receiving a usable video. Problems caused by private or unavailable listings, unsupported content, or content you do not have rights to use may not qualify for a refund after generation has begun.
4. How to request help
To request a refund review or free retry, email [email protected] with your checkout email, approximate purchase time, and any error message or confirmation link you received.
5. Fair use of refunds
We review refund requests fairly and may decline requests that appear abusive, fraudulent, or unrelated to a technical failure. This policy does not limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer laws.
